Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. Coach Martin was a McDonald’s All-American coming out of Atlantic City, New Jersey, and had an outstanding playing career at Pittsburgh. After his collegiate playing days, Coach Martin played more than 19 years overseas professionally and also won a Gold Medal with Team USA. Known as one of the toughest power forwards and one of the best rebounders in his time, Coach Martin took his expertise, experience, and wisdom into training players full time after his playing career. Coach Martin also possesses collegiate coaching experience as he coached at Northeastern University and UMass Boston. Coach Martin has developed and coached players at all levels - from high school to college to the NBA. He pays great attention to detail and tailors his workouts specifically for individual players. Not only does Coach Martin bring his vast knowledge to maximize his players’ athleticism and skills, Coach Martin looks to “provide clarity that supports confidence”, and in doing so, help student-athletes gain better self understanding and insight into who they are as well as how they can maximize themselves.
